Beginning July 1, 2025, an employee who performs at least two (2) hours of work in a particular workweek within the geographic boundaries of the City of Alameda must be paid wages of not less than $17.46 per hour.

The City published an Official Minimum Wage Notice that informs employees of the current local minimum wage and their rights. Employers must post the Official Minimum Wage Notice at each workplace or job site in a conspicuous place.
